Last Light Studio was started by Kenji Aoyama in 2018, after seven years assisting commercial photographers in Tokyo and Singapore. The studio works on editorial, brand, and architectural commissions across Southeast Asia.
We are a small team. Most projects are shot by Kenji with one or two assistants. For larger productions we collaborate with a trusted network of producers, retouchers, and stylists in Singapore, Bangkok, and Tokyo.
We say no often. We try to take on fewer projects than we could. We think the work is better that way.
