About Mira
Twelve years of asking founders better questions.
I started my career in management consulting at a global firm, working on strategy projects for Fortune 500 companies across Asia. I learned the craft, but I also learned what I did not want to do. The slide decks were beautiful and the recommendations rarely got implemented.
In 2017, I joined a venture-backed B2B SaaS company as Chief of Staff, then Head of Strategy. I lived through two fundraises, a pivot, and the difficult work of growing past 100 people. I learned that strategy work that does not account for execution is not strategy.
I started Mira Tan & Co. in 2021 to do the kind of strategy work I wished I had access to as an operator. Slower, more honest, written down, and with skin in the game through execution.
